Mr. Sudarshan Kumar Bansal,
joined the legal profession after graduating in Economics and Law from the Delhi University and is a Registered Patent Agent. He has successfully completed the program on Industrial Property Management, Tokyo in the year 1998 organized by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation Tokyo, Japan. He is an experienced and widely traveled litigator and prosecutor and has been on the panel of reputed industries like The Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd. He has had over 20 years of experience in the legal field and has handled cases in all types of IPRs and before various courts and forums world over.
Mr. Shravan Kumar Bansal,
the lead partner of the India’s renowned firm ‘United Overseas Trade Mark Company’, having over 16 years of legal experience in the major practice areas of the firm, is an expert in IPR litigation, counterfeiting and Anton Pillar Actions. He is actively involved in advising the firm’s clients on diverse aspects of intellectual property including ownership and enforcement matters in India and abroad. His expertise extends to trademarks and copyrights, which includes all stages, i.e. from filing application till registration and also litigation. In addition, he also focuses on diverse aspects of commercial laws. He interfaces with regulatory authorities on behalf of the firm’s clients on IPR issues. Though registered with the Bar Council in 1989, he has been active since 1983 with his advocate father and mentor. A Panel Advocate of Delhi Cosmetics Association, he is also Attorney in India for various international companies e.g., St. Ives, L’Oreal, Nokia, WD-40 etc. Among various landmark cases where he has left his imprints include the Dhoda House judgment on the nexus between copyright and trademark and an important decision on territorial jurisdiction, Kellog’s judgment on trade dress, S. Oliver judgment on trademark infringement, Baldev Singh’s case on design of footwears. He has proved to be an active member of international IPR organizations e.g., APAA, AIPPI, PTMG, MARQUES and various committees under International Trademark Association (INTA) since 1995 viz., Public Relations Committee (1999-2001), Madrid Agreement Committee (2001-2003), Trade Dress Committee (2003-2005) and is presently a member of Anti Counterfeiting Committee under the Middle East, Africa, Southwest Asia (MEASA) subcommittee.

Dr. Chandan Kumar Singh:
With Ph.D. and M.Phil degrees in chemistry from University of Delhi, India, he has research experience of about five years in various fields like inorganic and analytical chemistry, biochemistry and polymer chemistry. He has a few publications in his credit in international journals of Chemistry, namely Analytical Science, Indian Journal of Chemistry and Jordan Journal of Chemistry. For last eight years he have not only been drafting complete specifications related to cosmetics, paints, medicines, chemicals related consumer products, material processing, polymers, food processing etc., but he is also actively participating in the proceedings for grant of patents and other patent related litigation affairs.
P.K. Aahoot:
With a Batchelor degree in Pharmacy and a diploma in bio-informatics, he worked as a pharmacist in the local hospital of Delhi Government for about two years. Since March 2002, he started assisting the chemical group of the firm in drafting patent specifications and other legal affairs concerning biomedical science. Now he is a regular member of the patent.
Abhilasha Singh:
With master degree in Chemistry (specialization in Organic Chemistry), her duty is mainly confined to chemicals related searches, evidence collection and patent mapping activities. Since August 2005, she is on board.
Nishant Sonu:
With the master degree in Zoology (specialization in microbiology) and M.Phil degree in Biotechnology she is a key member of the team. Since August 2004, the firm is availing the benefits of her expertise in preparing specifications and other technical documents related with several bio-chemical sciences, namely biochemistry, food technology, microbial science, biotechnology etc.
Mr. P.D. Gupta:
As a telecommunication engineer, with master degree in engineering, he has vast working experience of more than 30 years in a number of reputed Govt./non-govt. organizations. He was nominated by government of India to undergo WTO sponsored training program in Manila. For last several years, as a free-lancer, he was active in the patent proceedings by drafting specifications and providing technical advices to client company/person. His has expertise in dealing with electrical, electronic, hardware, software and telecommunication related patent affairs.
Mr. Gopal ‘Paul’K. Gupta:
With master degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University, USA, and with a managerial engineering expertise of 23 years with fortune 100 US corporations in divisions of GE, GM, Allied Signals, Westinghouse, Hardware designs, Software Engineering, Project Management, Business Development IT Services etc., he has to his credit successful completion of various research oriented projects. A polyglot with fluency in English, Hindi, Telgu, Japanese and German languages, he possess great communication skill.
Mr. Ron Reardon:
He is a registered patent agent with the United State Patent and Trademark Office and now exclusively handling our patent related issues in USA. He is involved with several fortune telecommunication companies in the matters like developing invention strategy, establishing product-line and patent proceedings. Ron is an executive MBA from Georgia State University, BS in Physics and Mathematics from Christian Brothers University and also has fluency in Spanish.
Dr. Pradyumn Kumar Sethy:
With a background of Ph.D. in physics and M.S. in nuclear physics, he is very good grasp over subjects like electronics, semiconductor materials, power generation and management, as he was associated with several such research projects and programs. He has been associated with us for last seven years in connection with patent specification drafting and other procedural matters.
Sameer N. Upadhyay:
With an educational background of BS in IT and B.E. in Telecommunication he started his career as technical draftsman in an engineering consultancy. For last five years he is associated with us and is an expert in patent mapping and drafting in the field of telecommunication, microelectronics and electronic devices.
Rakesh Prakash:
M.Sc in Electronics worked as research associate for 6 years in several govt. financed research projects, under Department of Science and Technology. For last 3 years he is working in our firm. His areas of excellence are electronics, computer science (software and hardware), micro-machines and technologies at the interface of electronics & electrical engineering.
Yavneesh Chandra Shukla:
He served as mechanical engineer in railways for about 30 years. For last two and half years, he not only acts as a regular technical advisor to the members of one or another patent groups of our firm but also assists the patent prosecution and litigation.
Romeshish Kumar:
With M. Tech degree in Electrical engineering and a ‘diploma in patent and IP practices in India’ he deals the patent matters related to electricity, power generation-cum-transmission-cum-distribution and mechanical devices based technologies.
Padmini Sharma:
With a background of Computer Engineering, he assists those patent prosecution activities which involve some software, some specially coded electronic devices like microprocessor, microchips etc. Apart from this he has to perform extensive search and analytical studies about a patent and invention.
Dr. Mohini Kumar:
With master degree in Physics (specialization in material science), she contributes to patent assignments with physics background. Her areas of activity include conducting relevant searches, patent-mapping activities, determining the scope of an invention and its patentability, preparation of documents for opposing the grant of a published patent application of interest, supervises drafting of complete specification etc.
Niranjan Singh:
With educational background of MS in Physics and M.Tech in Forge and foundry technology, and with a professional background of teaching, he is acting for our firm as a full time draftsman of complete specifications. His additional responsibilities include assisting patent attorneys and attorneys-at-law in patent prosecution as well as litigation affairs.
Sandeep Roli:
B. Tech in Electrical Engineering And M.Tech in aeronautics from University of Atlanta, USA, he has experience of working in National Hydroelectric Power Corporation for three years. For last three and half years he resides with his parents in Delhi and works for our firm, mainly in key patent affairs like invention strategy determination for various clients, in technology transfer and licensing agreements etc.
D.K. Ganesh:
A Chemical engineer by education, he is handling assignments of patent mapping, complete specification writing, analyzing claims and determination of scope of a published patent. For last three years, he mainly deals with the matters at the interface of instrumentation, mechanical tools and chemistry of industries, mainly of polymers, plastic, paint, glass, food processing and packaging, batteries and fuel cells etc.
